Knowledge Exchange International Centre (KEI Centre) is a Canadian company specializing in organizing events for promotion of bilateral commercial relationships and transfer of technology and knowledge between Canada and Russia.
KEI Centre was founded in Toronto in 1993 by Dr. Olga Belkina to use
her extensive professional and organizational experience in Canada
and Russia to promote Canadian-Russian and East European cooperation.
| The founder and the president of KEI Centre, Dr. Olga Belkina,
graduated from the Moscow State University, and hold a Ph.D. degree
in Economics and Management. She taught management at the Moscow
Technical University of Communications and Informatics, organized
a series of international seminars and conferences in Russia. In
Canada she worked for the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development
and Trade and since 1993 as the president of the KEI Centre. |

Since 1993, KEI Centre has been responsible for organizing numerous
Canadian-Russian events in different industries including telecommunications,
aerospace, electronics, energy, environment, municipal administration,
construction, gas supply, agriculture, agri-food and others.
Events, that KEI Centre has successfully organized, have ranged from
organizing of seminars and trade missions, trade shows, conferences,
exhibitions for industries and associations, facilitating business
visits, providing training and a forum for the exchange of knowledge
and expertise between Canadian, Russian and East European companies
to soliciting partners for joint marketing projects.
Participants of these programs and events visited Governments and
companies in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and other cities depending
on the interests of Canadian and Russian sides.
The president, Dr. Olga Belkina, as a representative of Knowledge Exchange
International Centre, participates in all major Canadian-Russian events,
organized by the Canadian or Russian Governments, and in the Canadian-Russian
associations, including:
- Team Canada to Russia headed by the Rt. Honorable Jean Chretien,
Prime Minister of Canada,
- Canada Trade Mission to Russia, headed by the Honorable Pierre S. Pettigrew, Minister for International Trade,
- Canada-Russia Intergovernmental Economic Commission,
- Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association,
- Toronto Board of Trade,
- Canada Russia Business Council, created by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs with the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association,
- Exhibition of Russian Producers “Trade-Economic Cooperation of Canada and Russia” and other events.
